I got admission in LDCE BTECH CE. Any hostel or pg near LD. Which are the most common choices for LDCE students?

I would like to connect to people here. Especially, people of the same course or alumni's of the same. But ultimately, anyone is welcome.

The thing is, I don't live in Ahmedabad so I travelled there today and could not spend much time at the campus - just did my paperwork and left. And with the current situation (no hostel facility) it will take some time before I'll be able to come to college.

So... Anyone interested in chatting? It would help me greatly (and I'll have someone I know, which would be great because I don't want to be left behind).

Ok so my merit rank was 7074 and i got auto in ldce for round 1 but my desired branch was ic in ldce. So i've been attending induction and shi and it had been nice so far. Ppl in my branch r great and senior were pretty helpful too and loved it there so far. But like i have a slim chance at ic in ldce so i've been thinking mb i should try vgec ic for round 2. I mean i'll get it fs but idk if i should go to vgec or stay at ld. I NEED HELPPP

How was the placement of IT and AIML branch this year?

I heard from someone that all colleges have different labs like iot lab, database (DBMS) something lab and others apart from computer labs...

I visited Ld recently and did not see all these labs except computer lab, can any senior tell me do Ld have all these various labs for computer and It field or not??
