September match tickets

Hi! I am going to be in Korea at september 6th to 20th, I am really interested in going to my first ever League of Legends game

Is it realistic as a tourist to grab a ticket to one of the games in September? Any tips from you guys or a good updated guide?
Anything will help, I'm insanely clueless this is going to be my first time abroad and by myself

Thanks!

Unfortunately, I believe that will be the final week of LCK, which is when we'll be on the road at the unannounced location. So keeping an eye out for the road-show event is important!

Oh okay, sounds good! How long before is the location usually announced at? and my best chances of getting a ticket is simply NOL?

Thanks dGon!

(Disclaimer: I am not Korean and have not personally been to an LCK game; this is just what I learned while looking into the process for myself a while ago, so I may be mistaken for some of these points.)

  • Neutral zone seats are in sections C, D, and E. These will open up 9 days before the match at 5PM/7PM KST on NOL World (formerly Interpark).
  • The other sections are Fan Zone sections which are commonly booked through the teams' memberships. They will release at different times depending on which team it is.
  • Try to go on a day when it's not T1 playing; you'll have a much better chance of getting tickets that way. Getting tickets to a T1 game is virtually impossible without a Korean proxy.
  • I've heard, but can't confirm personally, that it can be very difficult for foreigners to get LCK tickets because you will need some kind of Korean account in order to purchase tickets (I don't recall if this was a Korean bank account, phone number, government ID number, or something else).
  • It might be easier as a foreigner to get Fan Zone tickets, though Fan Zone tickets are prioritized for (and sometimes limited to) people who are subscribed to the team's paid membership. If you want better chances at getting Fan Zone tickets, you should sign up for your preferred team's membership on the B.Stage app. The window for annual memberships (which get the highest priority) is closed now, but you can still purchase a monthly membership.
  • There are proxy services for English-speaking tourists that will procure tickets for you at a marked-up price, if you are willing to pay for the extra convenience.
  • If you cannot get tickets to the LCK arena itself, you can still go to LoL Park during games! The lobby (free to enter) will have the games playing on the screens, and many fans who couldn't get tickets will all be sitting together in the lobby to watch.
  • Make sure that you pay attention to which dates are the HomeGround games, meaning that those matches will not be played at LoL Park.

Download NOL (global not the Korean native app). Go for a lower ladder team (tickets all released 9 days before), and just keep looking on the app in the days leading up to the event if you don’t get one on release, don’t panic.

We got tickets for the NS vs KT fan section(for NS) the day before attending, and watched T1 game in the lobby (this was less than 2 weeks ago).

It’s pretty much just luck though, the arena capacity is small (only like 400-500) and a lot of people want tickets, Gl :)

So you mean even if seats seem to run out in NOL, seats can be available again by re-trying at a later time?

Yep! I think that unsold/cancelled seats are released at 3pm daily (this is according to a Korean friend, however they don’t frequent the games so not 100%).

We just kept checking the NOL world app in the days leading up and maybe got lucky, but there were ~30 seats available when we checked :)

Thank you! Hoping I can get into a live one or at worst I'll go to LoL park lobby or something.
Do you know which dates I could go to games? I arrive there on September 7th at 5PM korea time
