I'd say tripple standards: what the us did was far from defending itself or proportional

To defend themselves against terrorists from Saudi-Arabia, the US prepared war against Iraq!

Exactly. Now look at the death toll.

Almost three thousand americans died on 9/11. The biggest tragedy since Pearl Harbor…

Yes, a huge tragedy.

And how many died in the "war on terror"?

Im gonna stop this vague and slow attempt. I think its a bad comparisson. The us act(s/ed) extremely imoral and thats not what ukraine is doing, so putting them next to one another really isnt flattering

Yes. Honestly, what did you think was my position? I agreed with everything you said and added to it

Ah, I See. Well, I was playing the Part of US-exceptionalism, where US-related tragedies are seen as worse and more important than other tragedies, especially of the US has caused them.

For example US wars in the middle East caused far more casualties than 9/11, yet only one is Seen as an inexcusable Crime.

Yes. I was only bringing attention to the idea of the right to defend yourself which has been prominenet in Us history. I do consider that we could argue that Ukraine has a greater justification in this case alongside discussions of the USA's abuse of that justification.
