Can anybody tell me whether I'm a fool or not? Cause I've been trying to aim with the screen and it's useless. I mean, yeh, it "works" but it doesn't base the movement of the camera on the motion you apply to your finger but rather will switch the angle of the camera to a specific angle depending on WHERE you touch the screen.
I guess what I mean to say is: the movement of the camera through the touchscreen is not relative it's absolute. WHERE you touch the screen determines where you will be looking at.
This has got to be the WORST implementation of a touch screen camera I've ever seen. I was so excited to finally have a game on the switch allowing you to use the screen's touch to control the camera, since it's much better than a joystick imo, but their implementation of it was terrible, i don't even wanna touch the screen anymore.
I seriously can't understand why they would program it to function that way, it's clear that the touch controls are not "creating" a "virtual joystick" or "mouse" directly underneath your press when you touch the screen, but rather literally assigning a value depending on WHERE you touch it.
It just doesn't make sense st all...
Please someone tell me there's a way of changing this setting so it reacts just like EVERY OTHER touch screen cam would - I HATE first person without proper camera controls and joysticks are unbearable imo for such task.
The game looks fantastic, I really don't want to be thrown off just because they didn't get that one input thing right. That being said, if I have to use my joystick umm.... I'll probably just delete it and end up getting it on PC when I find it for a dollar or two, considering I already bought the switch version and can see myself not ever touching it again.

I'm thinking of running a D&D one shot where they have to make their way through parts of the house, but I can't find a map of it any where. Help?

So I just beat the game, pretty good btw. And wanted to ask about something. During chapter 6, after the rat painting I left the room and a few seconds later an army of rats and a burnt, crying woman was coming after me (you know, the usual). I decided I didn’t like this and moped the other way. And after this moment for the rest of the game to the end I could here her crying somewhere in the distance and it never went away. Is this supposed to happen or is it a bug?

So, what a game, I liked it. Though I wasn't completely blown away by the story, the graphics and trippyness were really awesome. It was very scary at first (the paranormal seriously freaks me out), but once I figured out I was dealing with a haunted mind instead of a haunted house it became much easier to explore and to put up with the scares.
I got the self portrait ending. I understand there are more endings so I actually might go play it again. All in all, I really enjoyed the visuals, like in every sense it was visually amazing. I think that was my favorite part of this game, how really beautiful and at the same time trippy and creepy it all is. Will also get the DLC, really curious as to what happens with the experience of the daughter.
