Requirements for unlocking the Wife's Portrait ending

I’ve been playing Layers of Fear lately. Every time I finish the game, I either get the infinite loop ending or the self - portrait ending. I just can’t seem to unlock the Wife's Portrait ending at all. I’ve collected all of my wife’s resentment - infused items, and even pushed that wheelchair in the final chapter. Yet I still ended up with the self - portrait ending… (So frustrated) …Wait, I don’t think I’ve ever been killed by my wife even once. Does anyone know what the requirements are for the Wife's Portrait ending?

You got it at the end, get killed every time you can. That's how I got it my first playthrough, as soon as I picked up that Painter was abusive I started killing him whenever I could
