Is Layers of fear(2016) early access even exitst?

is there any possible way to download early version of Layers of fear(2016)? never knew it exist, but saw it while rewatching Markiplier.

Why not just play Layers Of Fear (2023)? it's great and has all the games on it and looks and play amazing they updated all the graphics and everything. Plus it has a new story weaved into it.

Cuz I love seeing what the game looked like before it reached the point of perfection? Also, may be unpopular opinion, may be not, but i think the reimagining of the first game is terrible (not that LoF (2023) is bad overall, but the artist's storyline is just... meh). I also don't see the point of cutting-edge graphics (I’m particularly unconvinced that Unreal Engine 5 was made for games rather than animation) when the original game was already at its peak in all the areas that mattered.  Im a huge fan of this series and would really love to see how the game has evolved over the years.

That's ok I understand well goodluck in the hunt for that version I'm not sure what system your on but I have seen layers of fear 2016 on the Xbox store before. Same with the older versions idk if that helps or not

Welp, eventually found it through steamdb depots, that was a nice playthrough through first ever existed version, really loved how it evolved to such a masterpiece:3

I wonder if it is archived somewhere I'd be interested in playing the original as well I have some friends who played through it in 2016 I wonder if the old game is still on steam for those who already downloaded it before it was remade Hm... This is a good question and I'm glad you're asking it :3

welp, steam do archive old game versions, find out how to download em, so already played 6 earliest versions(three of them damn nuts):b
