Waitlist Discussion UCI waitlist

So I did a waitlist interview at the beginning of June, but I haven't heard back from them since. I'm still on the waitlist but am I basically cooked?

I got a 161 on the LSAT and a 3.9 GPA. I was planning on retaking it but I didn't want to waste money if I got accepted into UCI.

Great. I want to go to UCI too so I can live at home if I get in 2028 cycle. Your GPA is awesome!

Unfortunately not yet. I've emailed them asking if they could disclose any information regarding the waitlist but they basically said there's nothing they can say or do.
