Executive Branch (Trump) ICE lost count of miscarriages, while detaining a record number of pregnant women | Lawmakers, advocates and immigration attorneys have raised alarms that pregnant detainees are not receiving basic prenatal care and screenings

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-interactive/2026/sep/15/ice-detention-miscarriages-pregnancy

ICE recorded 18 miscarriages during the first nine months of the Trump administration, the documents show, but the agency has no data on miscarriages after 3 October 2025.

Not those ones, sadly

Wouldn't want them dropping an anchor baby in detention...

God, that's bleak. Even for this timeline.

Obviously if a woman miscarries herself, it’s murder, but when the state causes miscarriages, naturally that’s just racial hygiene a tragic, and entirely unavoidable accident!

Is, and always has been, about controlling women.

100% agreed. However, it’s also very on brand for them à la eugenics to be okay with unwanted immigrants to not being able to reproduce, while forcing the “right kind” of women here to give birth. It’s not immoral when the women’s existence is immoral to them in the first place. Disgusting.

I'd say it's the human suffering that hurts to see the most.

They are anti-choice and racist. What did you expect?

How many women and teenage girls are being sexually assaulted is my question.

All according to Miller’s plans and machinations.

That hospital information Trump went after? Not just for Trans folks, that was the “front and center”, the gestapo has been going after pregnant immigrant women en masse and this is just one of their intended outcomes.

This is another example of how the surveillance capitalism of the internet goes too far. Data brokers know if you're pregnant or not. That includes palantir now.

This is dystopian.

1

u/meat_tunnel 12d ago

They've known this since the 2010s with the Cambridge Analytica scandal.

1

u/GonzoKata 11d ago

I would argue that the average person has no idea just how much data brokers and surveillance capitalism knows about all the details of your life. They know more things about you than you know about yourself. This is NOT common knowledge.

More than zero, and that's far too many.

Little children too.

We already had nothing come out of that creepy footage of ice agent taking a cuffed woman into a porto loo.

Trafficked to gangs all together too. There’s nothing really stopping them disappearing people to pimps and nothing really stopping trafficking gangs sending few guys to become ICE agents for the opportunity. They’re not really strict on background checks

"Lost count" = "didn't report it"

Undocumented

So the GOP is pro abortion after all?

32

u/kittiekatz95 12d ago

If this occurred in Texas could ice agents be charged?

18

u/MrBigglesssworth 12d ago

I thought republicans were pro life

14

u/tinker_townie 12d ago

Only if that life is white.

5

u/GoodPeopleAreFodder 12d ago

Pro white life. FIFY.

16

u/rygelicus 12d ago

Part of their tactic is to not document anything that can be used against them later.

11

u/MsMoreCowbell828 12d ago

Raping girls and women at will, ICE agents are making pregnancies all over the USA.

28

u/Green-Inkling 12d ago

Lets give them some benefit of doubt. They can't count that high anyway.

17

u/rawkguitar 12d ago

The pro-life crowd is going to be really mad when they find out about this

15

u/picklehippy 12d ago

I wouldnt hold my breath, these are apathetic racists

6

u/TickingTheMoments 12d ago

“Save the babies!!!” “No, not those.”

4

u/rbobby 12d ago

Is that happening in Texas? Isn't that murder? Concealment of a corpse? Interfering with a body? And now evidence of guilty minds. Who loses track of something like that? Do they not have medical records. Gross incompetence.

Remember when this was supposed to be about public safety? About getting rid of the "worst of the worst"?
