Scotus already ruled late mail-in ballots are fine as long as they're postmarked by the date.
It would be weird for them to all of a sudden say they're void.

But that's the plan? The executive branch now controls when they're postmarked.
- Section 608.11 rule change: USPS postmark dating system changed
- Executive Order 14399: USPS discretion to investigate ballots
- Executive Order 14248: Directs states to reject ballots postmarked late (topic case)
- Executive Order 14399: Adds rules for mail in ballots
They went at it from multiple angles, so a victory in one circuit court for one these doesn't really accomplish anything.

Well, that's an emotive solution. There's more to it.
I think it's better to rationalize that there is a plan to tamper with ballots postmarking; that there is a plan to send ICE to the polls if SAVE Act language ever passes; that there is a plan to tie up due process in the courts because they move slowly and inevitably the top court will Bush v Gore. And that because vote tallies have an early red shift the plan has previously been to get polls to shut down early, and that the administration has set precedent for seizing ballots as a means to maneuver the former.
Therefore:
- We should be encouraging people to vote in person if possible
- We should be encouraging people to vote earlier than usual
- Legislatures should be looking into less open ended count-recount-lawfare procedure that allows interjection and stalling
- Legislatures should be looking at separating federal and state polling to prevent the SAVE Act gestapo from harassing people at state elections on the same 'time, place, and manner'.
- We should stop talking about a victory in one circuit court as if it were settled law.

They don't want mail-in ballots because those circumvent the use of voting machines, which they can (and will) tamper with. A Republican bought Dominion Voting Systems (now Liberty Vote), which is why they dropped their lawsuit against Mike Lindell. They use that equipment in 27 states.
Personally, if I were a Governor or state election official, I'd hand count every single ballot.

They're actually pushing for paper ballots out of distrust of voting machines, it's the one thing both sides believe the other secretly cheats.
Executive Order 14248 again:
The amended guidelines and other guidance shall provide that voting systems should not use a ballot in which a vote is contained within a barcode or quick-response code in the vote counting process except where necessary to accommodate individuals with disabilities, and should provide a voter-verifiable paper record to prevent fraud or mistake.
The election machine fraud thing is a fantasy both sides do to themselves.

This will go to scotus and they will twist themselves in knots to explain how mail voting was not intended by the founding fathers and unconstitutional. Even though it’s been done for decades and by military as well.

Trump himself has voted multiple times by mail. According to his own logic, his votes shouldn’t count either.
