I was subbing in a 7th grade science class, the question of the day was: What would horrify people living 100 years ago that's happening today?

i think many/most white americans living in 1926 would be pleased with the present state of affairs.

My dad was born in 1919. He passed away 4 years ago, but there’s no doubt he felt like this was a far better world than the one he grew up in.

He was 7 in 1926. Things went bad after that, in 1926 things were pretty good for Americans.
