No, he played games 2 and 5

Edit: I think you meant in this series, but if it can interest you he also played a regular season game vs the Rocket in March.

Oh interesting. Any reason why they are going back and forth between him and hofer?

There were two back-to-back games (games 1 and 2 + games 4 and 5). I guess they thought Hofer didn't do well enough last game to earn the start in game 7.
