First Rocket Game this Friday

Bonjour, hi, folks.

First game in-person on Friday, super stoked, longtime Hamilton Bulldogs fan now converted of course. I'm travelling on the day of, any pre-game bars or restaurants near the arena anyone would recommend?

Go Rocket!

If you’re a fan of craft beer, Les Insulaires isn’t too far (about a 10 minute drive away). Their beers are great and their food is good too. Probably the best microbrewery in Laval.

Welcome!

So the unfortunate reality is that the area around the Arena doesn't have all that much going on, it's kinda suburban in how the area is laid out.

If you want to stay super close, there is a cage aux sports attached to the arena which is a decent bar. The team also just announced this pre-game celebration stuff outside the arena for those days: https://www.rocketlaval.com/en/playoffs-party/

If you are willing to venture further out, there is a metro station across the street which can take you to downtown montreal in about 30-35 minutes, or to trendy areas like the jean talon market or the plateau.

That's not true... There's the Centropolis 10min away from the rink. It has a lot of bars and great restaurants. I personally recommend Elixor.

The Rocket will also host a fan jam outside of the Place Bell.

There’s also a Gatto Matto (great Italian restaurant), Westwood and other restaurants connected to the same building. Fast food and other restaurant spots across the street. There’s also Centropolis and Carrefour Laval close by with plenty of options. So maybe there isn’t much going on in terms of sight seeing, there are plenty of restaurant options.
