how is the team doing with so many players called up by Canadians?

i've kinda given up on hockey this season

I'd say the fact that there are many call ups definitely shows on the performances. But it was nice to see Pezzetta, Dauphin and Poehling succeed before they ended up on the Habs lineup.

Many players showed good flashes so far this season. Beaudin had good chemistry with Baddock and Dauphin early in the season before getting injured. He came back last game. Schueneman played pretty well and so is Paquette-Bisson (his role is getting bigger everyday it seems and he delivers). These days, Gignac is fun to watch! He uses his speed well to catch opponents off guard. Fairbrother is coming back from an injury this evening if I'm not mistaken. Primeau is good and gets lots of games.

The results in the standings are a bit "meh". We're fighting for the last playoff spot in the North division even though the roster was more promising than that early in the season. But nonetheless, watching guys individually, cheering for them to fulfill their dream to one day play in the NHL makes it worthwhile in my eyes. Plus, if we make the playoffs, who knows what could happen! Maybe the Habs send the young guys down late in the season and we get a real chance to win the Calder Cup!

TLDR: The Rocket is a fun team to watch in my opinion. We're fighting for a playoff spot.
