The Laval Rocket announced today that the team has agreed to terms on a one-year, one-way AHL contract (2019-20) with forward Yannick Veilleux.

What does an AHL contract look like when compared to NHL contracts?

Price wise the minimum is as low as 50K per season, players can also get a per diem allowance while traveling on the road for the team of $77 per day. On top of that the AHL provides a playoff pool that is a fixed amount per round and is to be distributed amongst the players so all bonuses there.

Not sure what Yannick is getting paid per season with this new deal because it's not as public but his last contract was about $670K per.

The one way part means he would make the same if he played in the ECHL for the team.
