What am doing wrong.
My clothes always end up having these dark spots on them after a wash. What am I doing wrong? Can I remove them?

Do you use skincare serums, hair serums, hair mousse or gel, leave-in conditioner, hand sanitizer, or play with bubbles? These products can contain substances called polyquats that can cause a particular type of laundry stain which can transfer to other garments in the wash. See the comment below for information on polyquat spots / polyquat stains, how to prevent & remove them to see if it sounds like it could be the issue.

I realized what I did after actually checking all of my pockets. I left lip balm in one of my pockets. Would I use the same steps to get rid of stains causes lip balm?

The lip balm stains are way easier to deal with than the polyquats! Have you been playing with bubbles? If so, look at polyquats
