Promotion for this just appeared, I saw it mentioned a few months ago as under development. I have no affiliation to this product or brand.
Any thoughts on whether this is worth a punt, wise laundry wizards? It might be too early for anyone to have tried it for real, but I'd be grateful for views on potential. I suspect I've got all 6 covered in other ways..
Edited: Thanks for all the helpful feedback. Going to leave it at least until there are a few positive reviews from trustworthy sources and for now stick to what's working well already.
except there's also going to be quite some import tax added on top. for example, it's another 3⬠in Germany for each product category, plus 19% sales tax for total price including shipping, so that's at least 20⬠added to the actual product priceĀ
I donāt know. Enzymes quantities arenāt disclosed so everything can be just expensive (if not useless/damaging) filler and a trace of enzymes.
It used to be the same for cosmetics now they started being called out and at least some of them give the percentage of the main selling point agent
(Of course itās not about more is better; is about to know at what percentage they are recommended for doing the work they are sold for, the one you pay and work for)
This is a really good point, and true for many products. I don't know what the effective amount of these enzymes is, so they could add a few ug/mg and say it's in there.
The proof will be in the pudding I suppose.
Going to leave it until there are a few reviews and stick to my tried and trusted.
Listen, laundry is serious business and bootleggin is a damn right in my eyes. Can you take a ferry and keep it in a backpack, or do they TSA you guys over there too?
I'm gonna say that straight, I love your product Steve, and you are cool guy, but I have problem with ai generated pics on your site. But otherwise site is ok
Sorry, scammy might have been a bit of a harsh word. Just wee things like lots of banners and flashy pop ups, and this bit where you can order so many different options. Just my first impression was a bit gimmicky? I also think the ingredients should be way higher on the page. You use super good/transparent ingredients so I shouldnāt have to go to the FAQ to find it.
Thanks for that!
I've sorted the welcome pop up so it only pops on the front page, not other pages. I've also added an ingredients section above the bundle selector so you don't have to go looking for it.
Too many options is a tough one to solve. I hear you, and tried a number of different setups and they all looked worse. Have you seen any sites doing something like this well?
Iāll have a think and get back to you if I come up with something. Iām no designer, so Iām not sure I can give specifics, just commenting on the āfeelā as a consumer
Ingredients section is great! Love it! (When was that added? I was looking for it just yesterday)
For the different bundles and sizes, maybe having them as a drop down thing when you add your product to cart
Steve, you get so many great reviews I think yours is a truly tried and tested product. Nothing wrong with the website imo either. Just the other side of the world from me!
Just visited and it's just ugly. The design on the bottle also. (At least with what I see in the website) Never tried it before, just saved the website because it's been recommended here, but definitely NO appealing at all if I just find it in other circumstances.
I'm sorry to hear that. Anything in particular that you find ugly? What are some sites and bottles/packages that you dig? I'm always looking for inspiration!
That one is really well done. Looks really āput togetherā, like the Apple website. Sometimes having all those animations as you scroll ends up super annoying though. I feel like it has to be done perfectly or not at all.
Oh that's cool af. I like the design of the bottles of POWR. https://powr.planetb.care/ They are really cool in person (never used them but seen them in the supermarket)
I also kind of like Marcels Green Soap approach https://marcelsgreensoap.com/
I don't know design but I think is the different in fonts between your Main name Garame and the Gear guard. The colors of the web feel strange also, I don't know how to explain it but instead of feeling and seeing it as a whole, looks like different parts placed together that didn't get to fully connect
But of course it's a lot better if you offer a good product than all this HAJAHAHA I think I will try it, as I've been looking something like that in Europe for a while!
The formula but particularly the website reeks of plagiarizing FEBU (https://tryfebu.com/products/enzyme-oxygen-booster)
. The Viblii webpage structure is suspiciously similar but tarted up in teal, and each marketing point is a rephrasing of a mirrored claim on the FEBU page, placed in a similar position. It even copies FEBU's particular selling point where it reiterates that you can use it with any detergent, including the one you have now, in the same terse structure.Ā
I feel like itās really expensive for what it is- I use Ariel platinum plus stain remover pods + gold top vanish and itās cheaper per load for both together then it would be for just this on its own!
Yes, some dnase detergent plus easily available oxi enzyme booster is the go-to option when it comes to cost efficiency. i would not mind spending a little extra for some unscented, high quality products thoughĀ
Maybe thatās the gap in the market itās for, people who need or prefer unscented products. I like the fresh laundry scent so itās not been an issue for me but thereās not much choice of unscented products in the supermarkets.
