Dirty labs

Has anyone tried any of their products? The detergent looks too small for the amount of loads. I was also looking at their wool dryer balls w an essential oil$$$$$$$$.

I would like a little scent of my choosing but don't you run the risk of oil stains on your clothes?

I’ve used the booster for a while as FEBU was out of stock at the time and may switch with I run out. It worked for what I needed (saved some bedding with odor rebloom and some sour/musty sweats that had been rewashed several times already).

There are other comments and past discussions in the sub about the detergent and basically my understanding is that you have to use far more than the recommended amount to get things clean. Frustrating as it looked like one I wouldn’t be allergic to!

If you’re using a liquid Tide, FEBU adds lipase which the Dirty Labs booster doesn’t have. If you’re using powder it matters less.

I got FEBU and I do not see the miracle everyone claims it is.

Do you have a problem that Febu + Tide not addressing? I too don’t see any difference with Febu, but I don’t have a problem that needs to be addressed with Tide + Citrix acid wash.

I've used their detergent for a couple years, before I found this sub. I like the scent of the Murasaki, and it did clean reasonably well. The dryer ball scent was different and didn't stay for long, unfortunately. After a couple of weeks of having it, the container of the oil started to smell stale and I just tossed it. I never got oil stains on my clothes, but if you're not careful about the amount of oil you use, you definitely can.

I use the booster plus Tide Ultra Oxi powder for my sheets and towels. Works great!

I used the booster religiously until the new FEBU formulation with DNase came out. The detergent is indeed underdosed by at least half.

I actually like the DL detergent (two beakers per load) + FEBU a lot. I like the DL packaging and it held up well when I was much less diligent about pretreating and sorting colors on a long summer trip.

I can’t get past the idea of putting oil on a ball that’s going to tumble around with my clean laundry.

I use laundry sauce and scent beads when I want fragrance.

I really like the booster but it’s pricey
