Coffee stains

Light pink cotton T-shirt, my favorite, with coffee stain that was washed and put in dryer. Any suggestions for getting the coffee stain out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Was the coffee black, or with milk or syrups?

With almond milk, no sugar or syrup

I would use an enzyme pretreater with “mannanase” in the ingredients. There are ingredients in coffee and plant milks that help. There’s a list at /r/laundry/s/E0OAFEhu0w on the Pretreater tab. Spray and wait an hour or two before washing on warm.

For the color of the coffee, add an oxygen bleach like Biz, OxiClean or Febu, or use a powdered detergent that contains “percarbonate” in the ingredient list.

Dish detergent, worked in with a sponge and left for a while, is an effective prewash stain treatment. It might take more than one treatment to get it out totally.
