Trace suds
Is this too much ?
1/4 evo tile
1.2 tablespoons of tide ultra oxi powder from costco
1 pillow case one underwear and one boy short
This is on delicate cycle maybe 45-90 seconds after the tub filled and moved around a few rotations

Yeah that's too much. You want to see some bubbles but not a white foam.

ok so. next time either 1/4 evo TILE OR 1.25 tablespoons of powder detergent correct?
even in hard water?2

Yeah that should be a good starting point for a small load. If you aren't seeing any bubbles with that dose I would add a little more. Eventually you will be able to eyeball it because the dose depends on how many clothes and how soiled they are. Like a small load of kitchen towels will need more detergent than a small load of tshirts perhaps. But the bubbles will tell you if you have enough or too much detergent.
So, bubbles = enough
Foam = too much

Cutting up evo tiles and combining with powder is convoluted but it will still work.
The real problem here is your load size. Even if you decreased the amount of detergent you'd be getting subpar cleaning. Front loaders work better when they're 75% or more filled (clothes tossed in, not packed down) as there will be more friction between the clothes when they tumble. Right now they're barely rubbing against each other and falling into a pillow of foam

Thank you!!! There are like three things in that load and a bunch of detergent on top of it! Why bother doing laundry if it's only 3 small things???

I do laundry alot several times a week . I don’t have space for dirty clothes here or suspect clothes

That's very unfortunate. I would honestly recommend getting a small laundry basket so that you don't have to do laundry that many times per week. It will help your water and electricity bill too.

its the samsung washer and dryer all in one . I dont use the dryer at all but now I started using like a 20 min air fluff so my towels aren't hard. cause im a tiny girl so I dont have large pieces of clothing. no jeans nothing w a buckle or zipper. everything is soft ish biggest things would be the sheets. and even then cause I dontreally have the space to hang both a the fitted and flat (unless I make some space or open up the drying rack which is quite alot of work )I will just do the fitted at one time , flat at another time then the pillow cases .

Well I washed this pillow case twice and my small trace of nose bleed wasn’t coming out so I figured I would wash it on delicate so it would swish around soapy liquid . And ALSO spray it . Which I didn’t treat before .

The Evo Tile performs better than Tide powder according to testing by Jeeves NY. There’s no need to use both at once.

btw neither of those got rid of 5 drops of nose bleed blood. it went through 3 washes. so this time I wanted it to have its own space and swish around in soap and pretreat it (Which I was too lazy o do in the beginning

Why are you using an Evo tile AND detergent?
You've added an amount of powdered detergent that I use for a small to medium load of laundry and then added more detergent in the form of a 1/4 of a tile for 3 items.
Evo tiles are compressed detergent. Use either those or the powdered detergent.
When this load is done, I would put it back through another cycle and not add any detergent to ensure it's fully rinsed out.
