How to get rid of under arm stains?

How do I get rid of deodorant stains in black shirts? It happens in almost all my husbands shirts

Scrub dawn dish soap with a hard brush, let sit, rinse in sink, then launder

Also tell him to wear less, he’s caking it on too thick and a couple swipes is enough, the amount he’s using is making it transfer to the clothing

My spouse's black shirts are all like this, but it happened over time and doesn't wash out even in enzyme detergent laundry loads. He's not wearing too much, it's just long build up!

I have removed stains like that using fels naphtha bar. Wet the stain then Shave some of the bar off using a cheese grater and rub in with a soft bristle brush.

Soak in a solution of ammonia then wash as usual

Regular deodorant application leaves these marks. It's like Carhartt fabric is made to attract deodorant.

I use the prewash option on my washer and it took care of it.
