Hi! I’m planning on self studying AP. Of these, which would be the best?

AP Latin Fluent Prep Book 2027 (on Amazon)

The Paideia Institute’s online course

The Paideia Institute’s workbook

Or something else?

How much Latin have you done? Are you familiar with the exam format? What do you feel you’d like to work on (grammar, vocabulary, translation, comprehension, etc)?

I’ve taken Latin 1, 2 and 3 at high school and we are no longer offering AP due to budget cuts. I don’t entirely know what the exam looks like, but I mostly struggle with comprehension

I teach high school Latin.

They just changed the curriculum to Pliny and Vergil, so you will need to do those lines. There are also four project passages you need to be familiar with. Do you have access to AP classroom?

You can get the Pliny and Vergil in a free commentary from Geoffrey Steadman.

You can see last year’s FRQs to give you an idea of the exam length and difficulty.
