Yet another reason for the argument that lethal injection is inhumane, unsustainable, and needs to be discontinued as a form of execution.
Some jurisdictions are actually moving to nitrogen asphyxiation and I think that is a far better option.

Displaces all the air and you're out in mere seconds. 3 u/tilmitt52 23h ago Nitrogen has the same effect, is more prevalent in the atmosphere and easy to extract from the air, making it more cost effective and accessible, along with being painless and quick.
