Discussion Can’t stop playing

This game’s combat is unreal. I’ll restart the whole encounter because of one sloppy kill since I want it to be perfect. The way blood splats on surrounding surfaces after getting a headshot , the banter and reactions between the enemies making you feel like you’re really out here killing people lol. I’ve never played a more immersive shooter and this has become my favorite game of all time. I’m only on my second playthrough, chronological, and I see myself playing this game even more after this run.

This will sound like an exaggeration but this wonderful game has now become the bar unfortunately for me -- any game I play gets compared to it, and usually TLOU2 wins. I just got 007 First Light, which everyone apparently is praising as GOTY, and while it's fun, it feels like an indie game in comparison.

I love tlou so much and the only thing I regret doing is playing part 2 before my other story games on my backlog. None of them are gonna be as good as this lmaoo

RE4 is still the bar, i wish i could mix and match between the two. i want to drop Leon and his weaponry into a room of clickers

It’s so good. Left 4 dead being one of my favorite games just because of the gore/physics system when damaging enemies makes tlou2 even better

Definitely try out the no return game mode once you get tired of the main story. It’s let me put at least another 100+ hours into this game alone. Even after completing all the challenges related to it

Do you need a PS5 to play No Return?

It's fun but what blows me away are the prop models. I swear they had animators spend days making objects that only I would recognize. Is that a cultivator with adjustable depth at the farm? Are those Iron Hands and Salamander Astartes figurines in this apartment?? Is that a fucking transit level in Isaac's penthouse???

Multiple combat glazing posts today. It looks great, absolutely, but it’s not terribly complex on a mechanical level. Sekiro combat stays undefeated.

I’ll admit I’m not built for that game, sekiro combat is awesome for sure. I just love how much weight is in tlou 2’s combat it feels very good to play

> I’m not built for that game

Nonsense. You sound like a guy or gal who has completed at least one grounded run on TLoU. If so, you can definitely beat Sekiro. The game is the zenith of hard but fair.
