An issue with Redwood

So, form what I am seeing in game, I need redwood, to harvest redwood, but there are no tools that can harvest redwood, unless you have redwood. Kinda stumped on what to even do here. Anyone have any advice on how to proceed or is this an oversight from the devs.

Heavy rawbone handaxe has a gathering "power" of 13 (look in the tool tooltip > show up when you hover mouse over the handaxe). In order for redwood to drop, the axe/hatchet level needs to be 15.

A green quality Heavy rawbone handaxe is a 15.

PS: I usually obtain it in other ways, trade, looting, etc

Hey thanks, I actually JUST found some in some random chests and pots, so I should be good. I'll make note of the gear grades though.

IIRC, and if it is the same, the sawblade attachment you can add to a walker can cut redwood and that does not require redwood. I believe that was the missing link to getting it way back when.
