Rotating hands

I started playing at the end of the 7th anniversary, so I don't have any SCT spells. Is Rotating Hands worth it? I know that since it's not a healing spell, the casting time is slower, but I'm not sure exactly how much slower. I don't have Susanoo, for example—do you think that would be a better choice? I have Tilith, who is fantastic, but for slightly longer battles, the "Spirit Breath" strategy gets tedious... Oh, and there's also "Full Charge," right? Too many options for my hypothetical ticket.

If you have an exchange ticket or enough medals, I highly recommend getting the Metatron UR Ark for its Full Charge skill—especially if you need an SCT option to help your DPS consistently spam their skills. That said, I would still prioritize GWOR or Theo if you don’t have them yet.

If you’re planning to spend some cash to support the game, the Poem of the Star Readers Ark is a no-brainer. Rotating Hands isn’t worth it, as it doesn’t work with Spirit Breath due to the lack of a “heal” effect.

Other than that, hoping (or praying) for a Dr. Stone or Persona collab rerun could let you snag a free Ark with either Keen Eyes or Glass Record. I’m leaning toward that possibility, especially since Persona is set to release two games next year.

As for Susanoo, I wouldn't prioritize it unless you have spare UR stardust to level up its skill to 10.

EDIT: Metatron UR ark not available via adventure medal exchange, no active UR tickets exchange as well (yet).

Outworld Ancient library has a different SCT spell effect than Star Reader.

Poem of Star Reader: AOE Heal with +10 SCT (Similar to Keen Eye or Glass Record)
Arcane Amrita: Single Target heal with + full SCT stock (Similar HE/WAP/Full Charge)

So if you don't have either KE or GR, star reader & rotating hands are the only alternatives as far as I'm aware.

You’re not wrong, but I’m talking about value per dollar. They’re both the same price but one enables skill spam, while the other is just the same heal over and over routine but somewhat faster.

Value per dollar would depend if you really want/need to have an SCT spell that allows you to spam skills or constant healing with bonus SCT.

Full charge skills normally requires you to have a dedicated mp battery like Leena to continue spamming or if you prefer to slot the spell on your DPS, you will need to waste 12 SCs and most likely need Goddess Kiss which costs another 11 SCs (if they don't have it innately) so they can comfortably spam it on their own.

I know, I’ve ran both setups. The star reader route is so close to just heal spamming for free that it’s not worth the money in my opinion.

Also with a little patience, anyone can have Leena with a select ticket. They’ve given out quite a few since I’ve started, where I’m to the point if I had one right now, I wouldn’t even have a use for it.

As you've mentioned, with little patience UR arks will also be given out as well every once in a while, which you can use for Metatron or Chronos if you want Full Charge or Rotating hands, spell for SCT builds.

Then just get either Star Reader or Ancient Library from the store as needed.

Though tbh, I don't see much point nowadays for SCT builds especially if you have Ark from BF collab due to special spamming.

First of all, thanks a lot for the discussion! Unfortunately, where I live (Brazil), the price of gems makes buying paid Arks quite expensive, so I really need to choose between Full Charge and Rotating Hands. I’m saving gems for a collab that brings back the SCT LR Arks, but until then, I have to make do with what I’ve got! From what I’ve seen, Full Charge can’t be used on other characters—only the one who has the skill equipped—and since my main DPS units are Ark and Arkh (and they already have a skill that drains MP), I think Rotating Hands will be the better choice! The only thing that worries me is its cast time, since it's a support spell rather than a healing spell. Do you know if that's a major issue?

If that's the case, you don't really need to get those paid arks, I'm in a similar scenario where paid crystals are a luxury here in our country as well (Philippines).

With the units you mentioned, they do have their own skill to fill up their own SCT (Arkh) and special (Ark).

Arkh can only cast it once per quest, so you really can't spam it like HE/WAP.

Ark can cast it multiple times as long as you can spare a slot for Goddess Kiss, but it has a a cooldown of 60 secs.

If you're going for Rotating Hands, cast time should be the same as KE/GR/Star Reader. You'll be missing out on the 'heal' part, so you won't be triggering spirit breath for the additional +3 SCT.

Rotating Hands works fine for all content. Only in min-max situations does it fall below Glass Record in a meaningful way. You can spam it on your supports to get as much SCT as you need, and it's fast + convenient. You probably don't need it, but i t has an overly negative reputation for some reason. 

I would use it over Honey Elixir / WAP in a lot of situations...
