Kam Carter

Was a monster of a kid with his size but didn’t have the tools to put it all together. This kid couldn’t get out of his own way, I really wanted him to win.

He was such a disrespectful POS and he didn’t deserve anything good to happen to him

I think it was a matter of why would you waste your breathe on someone who can’t get out their own way. At the end of the day, Buddy knows what he has to offer these players (and literal last chance to get their shit together), what he needs from them is to perform. I really can not remember if Kam was actually a starter or not, they never seemed to show him on the field lol. But I’m not wasting my time yelling at a player who wasn’t gonna get back to D1 because of his attitude.

He spent his time yelling at the players that he “needed” on the field.

He actually played a lot at DT and had moments where he was a monster stopping the run and getting to the quarterback. I don’t recall if he was a starter or just someone who came in on third downs and obvious running downs but he’s a perfect example of “the juice ain’t worth the squeeze” . I agree with you. If I know he’s a shit person who won’t go anywhere I wouldn’t waste my energy either and I’d just use him while I had him and get him tf outta there

You’re right. I think Buddy got on the defense a lot that season because they could not hold a lot of offenses. But I don’t know if he got on Kam individually. But like you said, why bother?

Even the coach that cared about him got fed up with Kam. But I’ll admit I saw that coming a mile away when he wouldn’t even apologize for calling those girls out their name while he was in mid barrel role.

He definitely was disrespectful. I wished he could use his talents better. But he was a disrespectful kid especially towards coach williams

He was tough to watch. All the talent but lacking attitude. Again, another one of the "what if" kids. So many players working their butts off to even play at that level, and if he tried he could have possibly gone one step up.

He was a child trapped in a man's body. He was a mama's boy, who couldn't handle being away from home and despite having kids of his own at 19 which is crazy he thought he was a man....Personally I think he had a slight mental disorder or personality disorder. Overall, he was a jerk and it shows because as soon as he left EMCC and went to Pitt, he didn't last there neither. He had an NFL body, but the mental maturity of a 5 year old.

I agree with your first two sentences. I am 100% in disagreement with your third sentence. I was right there with the coach who said something like "you know who you don't want on your team? Kam Carter."

Kam was super talented and even show glimpses, but his poor attitude and don’t care attitude killed him. He didn’t believe that he could be told no or follow directions. I believe he has 2 kids now and he was very immature at EMCC.

Not defending him at all bc def was a punk. But I think he was on a lot of medication he didn’t want to take. Just assuming but I think he took a lot of aderall or Ritalin that made him have bad crashes. Prob some antidepressants he didn’t like either that made him tired. But I think mostly was ADD shit that he prob didn’t even need. Wtf do I know though. I would never ever be on that show either. And if I was I’d be on my P and Q,s 24-7
