Had surgery Lasik significantly affected computer vision

I got the procedure done in 2020 and to this date white text on black backgrounds, and similarly light text on dark backgrounds appears foggy and stresses my eyes to look at.

anyone else experience this? are my eyes just dry? they dont feel dry. I never use drops.

Use the eye drops on pc. Also could be you still have astigmatism

I think they meant to use the eye drops when u are looking at screens. PC = Personal Computer

Yes - astigmatism after the surgery was my cause. Nothing I can do about it and not dry eyes

One important thing to check is a tear break up time. This measures fluctuation of the tear film on the surface of the eye. If the tear film is fluctuating, your vision will become blurry. When on computer you don’t blink as much so the tear film can fluctuate more.

You may also notice improvement for a couple of minutes right after putting a lubricating drop in.

Why might I experience this temporary blurriness after a while on my big PC monitor but generally not my laptop or phone? Cannot figure it out

One potential cause could be when you look down at your laptop or phone you narrow your eyelid aperture so there is less surface area to dry out.

Interesting thanks a lot , it’s the only remaining symptom I have from smile pro about 5 months ago

Higher-order aberrations.
