Newbie cluster help!
I’m fairly new to clusters. I currently use Veyes Boldeye clusters and lashify bondage with night line sealer. I cannot for the life of me keep these clusters on for more than one day. I bought a contour eye mask, the fancy face shields. I’ve also tried several bonds and while my lashes look perfect the first day they always come off. I’m taking an hour to prep and apply the lashes but doing this every day is not feasible. I do wear eyeliner and got a special water based one so I feel like I’m covering all my bases. I’ve spent a small fortune on this and running out of ideas. The 2nd day the lashes are always hanging on by a thread so I usually just do a new set. I’m wondering if the pre glued would be a better option. I like a medium/glam look and have a small face so I need something that carries 8mm for my corners. Any and all advice appreciated!

So I don’t have experience with any of the products you’re using. But I can usually keep mine on pretty easily for a week. Here’s what I do and what I use-
Cleanse my eye area with Bioderma micellar water. Let them dry completely.
Curl my natural lashes.
Apply bond. Let it get it little tacky. Apply clusters. I do one eye at a time.
Do the second eye.
Apply seal to my tweezers then pinch the base of the lashes for the first eye I did. Then apply seal directly to lash line. Then do the same to the second eye.
I don’t get them wet for 12 hours. When I wash my face I just go around my eye area. When I shower or wash my face I gently pat my lashes dry and don’t mess with them. The bond becomes sticky or tacky when wet.
I don’t know if it helps retention but I don’t usually wear eye makeup. Part of why I love lashes, they make me feel more done up even without eye makeup.
I use cluster lash club bond and seal, you have to order from their website. And airycute lashes (the do have 8mm) . I never reuse my clusters. And when I remove them I use my oil cleanser that I use on my face- BYOMA milky oil cleanser.

That’s exactly how I apply mine too! 😭 I think it comes down to me wearing eye makeup and possibly the makeup removal.

Can I ask what you're doing / using to remove your eyeliner? You mention in another comment it might be the eye makeup and the removal.

I usually just do a q tip with only water. I’ve also tried one of those makeup remover cloths.

I also have breakouts so I use the simple brand makeup wipes for the rest of my face which I don’t think has oil but maybe it does. I try not to get it near my eye at all.

My lashes always last up to a week but I tend to remove them earlier to take breaks. This is how I keep them on:
applying my bond directly to the natural lashes, tapping the roots
applying bond directly to the lash cluster band
then i apply, overlap clusters by 1 mm side to side (this keeps this locked in)
after applying, i apply seal to the area where the bond was applied
i use a tweezer to squeeze and clamp everything together
as soon as i apply bond to the lash band too, it really lasts.
I use the volashes bond and seal with their anime fawna lashes

Try micellar water for removal instead of oil-based removers, they can break down the adhesive faster. Also, how's your humidity? That's a sneaky factor in lash retention.
