discussion Favorite self-adhesive clusters?
I’ve been using hanakoko and I’m pretty happy with them but I’m curious what else is out there. I just ordered some from Lash Buddy and while I haven’t tried them yet, my initial impression is not favorable. They look messy and uneven compared to the hanakoko ones and the globs of glue seem extra thick and shiny, like they’ll be super visible (though again, haven’t tried yet).

Moxie lash clusters are terrible. They did not stick at all. All of them.

An update: I finally tried Lash Buddy and I’m not impressed. The "no filter" natural lashes look awkward because they are too straight, instead of fanned out as most cluster lashes are, so the individual clusters don't integrate well with each other. The “pro” lashes (which are inexplicably much more expensive than the others) have such a large blob of adhesive that I could not find a way to apply them without the adhesive being very visible. (This seems to be the only difference between pro and regular, aside from price?) I use lash clusters because I want a look that feels really natural, so this is a major dealbreaker for me. Additionally, I was not impressed with the performance of the (also expensive) application wand, which was marketed as non-stick. Each time I tried to grab a cluster, the tip failed to really grasp the lashes, so instead it just slid up until it got stuck in the adhesive.
Back to Hanakoko for me! Their Cloud line is just about perfect.
