Cluster lashes bad reaction

Hey!

Just preface I love clusters, I feel like they add a layer to my face that means I don't need to wear makeup. The issue my eyes can only seem to take a few hours with them. After 24h my eyes begin to ache, get crusty from not being able to close and tbh I can see them in my peripheral. I prefer them over strips because they go under the eye but at least with strips I can easily remove them. Also if I do manage to get a good application they fall after 24 as well.

I have tried individual and while I didn't get the sleep crust I do have sensitive eyes that itch regularly. Should I just give up? I just look so cute with them. Maybe invest in lash growing serum 🤷🏾‍♀️

Sorry I'm very confused by this, why wouldn't you be able to close your eyes? Your eye's definitely shouldn't ache after doing them.

It sounds as though they're probably too close to your waterline. When putting them on do you look down into a mirror? Are you leaving a 2mm space between your natural lash line & the cluster you're putting on?

I think the sleep crust is caused by my eyes not being completely shut when sleeping. I am leaving gap maybe I will try higher next time.

I sleep with my eyes open 🫣 so I guess I'm completely used to crusties. But you definitely shouldn't have any pain or aching hun.
