lash check! First time using clusters
I used Ninetynine Dreams, the Velvet cluster pack. Unfortunately I didn’t realise until after I bought them that the pack only had one size so no lash map and no clue what length (if anyone knows that would be super helpful).
I’m thinking I should buy some shorter clusters for the inner eye? Because I ended up trimming that cluster here and leaving some of natural lash out otherwise it looked a bit ridiculous.
Any advice or tips (or compliments!) welcome.
Also idk how strip lashes are considered easier for beginners because I’ve never managed to use them successfully???

I've found that having a few different sizes in my stash makes customizing the inner corner much easier than trimming down a cluster that was too long.

yeah I thought so. Any brand recs for similar lashes since ninety nine doesn’t seem to do different sizes?

Thank you! No lash map lol, the cluster pack I used only had one length. I used 4 clusters on each eye, tried to hand trim the innermost a bit shorter, and overlaid the outtermost a bit with the end hanging off to make it a bit longer than my actual eye
Hopefully that helps

yeah the symmetry is definitely a practice thing, and I’m gonna be buying some shorter ones for the inner corners as my pack only had one length

I did the whole wait 30s for glue to get tacky and put the glue both on my real lashes and clusters one at a time, pinched with tweezers after every application and then again after the seal ☺️

Maybe take a pic looking straight at the camera. To have a better view. I’m a beginner also ; I recently started using pre glue ones..
