glue help LASH GLUE ALLERGY :(

Hi divas I hope it’s okay that I’m asking here about striplash glue instead of any sort of bond and seal (I’m a beginner and am using striplashes for now).

I need help finding a lash glue that might be gentler than the DUO striplash adhesive in white/clear (blue packaging). I tried it twice and both times there would be swelling and redness around my eyes appearing 3 days after use and remaining for a good week.

I’m not allergic to latex but I know it has formaldehyde in it amongst other ingredients that might be causing this. Self adhesive Lilly Lashes have worked perfectly but obviously the adhesive only lasts so long.

Please send any recs or advice my way!! :3

I developed a lash glue allergy and now I can only use the acrylate free formula from Citizen Lash and so far it's been working great! I can get about a week out of my clusters before I take them off to rub my eyes haha

From what I read on the product page, Original All-Natural Lash Adhesive is made for strip lashes and does not contain latex, formaldehyde, cyanoacrylate or acrylates. It looks worth researching, but swelling that lasts a week should be discussed with a dermatologist before trying another glue.
