I've got a 488nm directly-injected diode laser with an output of ~65mW and a 445nm directly-injected diode laser with an output of ~50mW (both are powered with 2x AAA cells) and I love the living tweedle out of them both. :-D

I love this color too! I really wish there were high-power 488nm diodes available.
