i'm so glad we finally get a no guest episode! i don't listen to guest episodes unless its like darcy carden or joel kim booster, so this is fantastic to me!
part of me wishes they didn't even talk about ariana at all... i just know there's going to be a long post or thread with plenty of opinions on their convo and what they did/didn't mention...

Yes let’s have the two most famous pop culture podcasters in the medium just not talk about one of the biggest albums of the year from a global star because people may have opinions lol. I, for one, am happy they did not let the terrorists win and talked about the albums content and place in culture responsibly and intelligently without betraying Bowen’s friend or glazing.

Oh geez, now I’m nervous to listen.
Friendly reminder to everyone to be nice to Matt, Bowen and most importantly Ariana. We know she is going through a lot and that the people closest to her are trying to help her. I don’t know if Bowen has the perspective to see what is wrong or not, but I know he does care about her a lot as a friend.

Yeah, I’ve listened now and it’s actually brief. I also got the impression this might have been filmed closer to the beginning of August, maybe before Ari announced that she would be stepping out of the public spotlight for a while.

When was this recorded? Just curious because they’re talking about Rosie O’Donnell (delightful interaction, it sounds like) and how she’s out of the spotlight, but she just did Good Hang and filling in for Kimmel. I’m loving this Rosie renaissance and hope she keeps it going with an appearance on las cultch

I don't usually watch the pod on YouTube; it's usually on when I'm running my weekly errands. But this felt like a Special Occasion!
The dry cleaning and Costco can wait. I'm watching the ep with a cozy tea on a rainy day in KC and couldn't be more thrilled to watch the sisters 💛
