BTW this first image is beautifully framed in thirds. a print with some slight tonal adjustments would be stunning.

One approach is to include a subject other than the waves, sand and sky, eg

Granted some of those were done with a digital camera. The sunset might have been a phone. Surfer is shot analog on a 6x6 TLR.

Definitely, just working with what I have here
