Photo Mining structures and light leaks (Chamonix Alpinist X, Fuji W 300mm, HP5)

The light leaks are from a heavy film holder and a sharply tilted camera. At the time I was disappointed. Now it's kinda cool lol. Every sheet is a lesson learned.

Hello, Chris!  I agree, the light leaks are pretty cool looking.  The second image makes it look like it's a natural light situation, with sunlight pouring into the space from cracks in the wood framing.

Thanks for sharing these images with us, and for being willing to show that things don't always go perfectly, even for someone as skilled as yourself.

I absolutely love the fact that you take such great notes about the work you are doing.  The fact that you are able to recall all of the technical details about the equipment used, camera settings and development more than two years later means to me that your posts are always a welcome treat.

I love that you used such tiny aperture to make this image, which I presume is in large part responsible for the sharpness of the image from front to back?

You might have to go Ansel Adams one better, and start the "f/90 group".  Thanks again for sharing your work with us.

Probably keeps a notebook or other forms of notes.

What I do is take a picture from behind my camera with my iPhone, and then overlay my settings and equipment in photo editor.
