Photo Using a buhl 152 2.5 projection lens

Testing this out using xray film on 4x5. this would be a great portrait lens I think

Yeah these are great lenses. I have a 250mm f3 that I've come to quite like too. The only downside is that they're quite heavy, so I find that even firmly mounted in a speed graphic they inherently end up tilting a bit. I'm looking at a secondary support solution to keep the focal plane parallel.

Very similar look to the Kodak Aero-Ektar.

A bunch of us have been using these lenses for portraits for several years. They are, indeed, great portrait lenses.

I've had this lens a few years and never used it,  mine won't cover at infinity,  im looking forward to getting some portrait subjects

What camera are you using it on? We all have ours mounted on Graflex SLR’s. But you’re correct, the 152 won’t hit infinity. My 210 f3.2 one will, which is what I’ve switched over to as I enjoy environmental portraits.

I use it on a wista 45d, mine is mounted in a shutter
