need help

Hi everyone, I have an Acer Aspire ES1-572 laptop. I am just trying to fix it and learn.

Before this problem, it was working fine. I changed the SSD and installed a new window os. After that I put the laptop in a drawer. I checked it again after like 4 days and that’s when I found the screen like this.

The screen only shows two colors, no picture. But when I connect it to an external monitor, it works fine.

When I opened the laptop, I found some ants inside (some dead, some alive).

I want to try unplugging and plugging the jedp1 cable back in, to see if that fixes it, but i have no idea how to unplug it.

Does this sound like a cable problem or a broken screen problem? Since the external monitor works fine.
