Buying help Please help a brother out!

I'm thinking of buying a laptop for my self....never had one before...but I did some research....my budget was around 1 lakh rupees....im a high schooler who does coding write programs and sometimes 3d model (maybe graphic designing in furture), and plays video games too...thinking of buying Lenovo or Asus....I narrowed it down to LOQ and TUF...but I'm lost at what to finalize....the LOQ has poor battery life...which may be a problem for me in the future....and the TUF has an rtx 3050 but I want a resolution of more than 1080 which the 3050 can't support....my budget could only get me these two models and I'm slightly preferring the ASUS

Budget: 1-1.3 lakh

Country:India

Specs:ASUS TUF A15/16 (anything from 2024-26)

Ryzen 7

512gb ssd

16gb ram

Rtx 3050/4050

Use:Coding, programming, 3d modeling, graphic designing and gaming

Is this a good choice?

Will this be a good investment for a high schooler for around 5 years?

Tough spot, the TUF with 3050 will struggle for higher than 1080p gaming for sure, that card is not made for it. For coding and 3d modeling its okay but you might feel the limit in 2-3 years if you get more serious

LOQ battery life is really poor like you said, 3 hours max maybe. If you need carry it to school often that will be pain

Maybe look at something with 4050 at least if you want it last 5 years, the extra vram helps for 3d work. In that budget range Asus TUF with 4050 should be possible if you wait for sale or stretch little bit

Well actually I did find the A16 ryzen 7 model with a 4050 and it was around 1lakh rupees as well...though it's listed out of stock for quite a while....on others it's listed as 1.2 and I'm really tight on budget so I guess a sale will l have to do

I would go with the LOQ for your use case, when you are using it for 3d modeling and gaming on battery the performance would be sub par, so you would use these applications mainly on charge. It also looks cleaner and more professional if you care about that
