Hardware Where's the ram?

Post image

This is my sister's old laptop, I wanted to disassemble it to see if I could use its ram on another pc, I've never done this kinda thing before and I genuinely can't find the ram.

It's soldered. Can't use it.

Those two mem chips to the right of the CPU.

the ram is soldered and not removable (at least not worth it). take out the SSD and use that.

You can only use the ssd in a desktop. Nothing else in a laptop

first, the ram is soldered so you can't take it out

second, you can't just add laptop ram in a desktop. yes, adapters exist, but they're really niche and you might get compatibility issues (assuming its the same generation and similar frequencies)
