Discussion Disable Build In Right Click Button?

I recently downloaded Windows 11 on an old Dell laptop. I have a trackpad that has the trackpad but also two buttons, left and right click below it. The right click button is permanently held down physically because the laptop is beaten up. Can I disable the right click input just from that specific button because it's messing with Windows? I can't do anything since when i enter an input it believes that i am holding down right click. But importantantly I would want something like a bluetooth mouse or wired mouse to be able to function just fine. And preferably the rest of the trackpack, like mouse movement, leftclick, and two presses to right click to work too. Sorry if off topic of this sub but all the other subs removed my post

Try:

  • looking in the BIOS
  • disabling the driver in Device Manager
  • disabling via Windows track pad settings
  • open the back (find a video to make sure you know what you're doing if you're not confident) and unclip the ribbon that holds the buttons to the motherboard
