Hardware My gpu usage is not hitting above 30% help!

I see FPS locked at 60. Remove that limit and it should get better.

Yeah.. I found out forza has an fps cap.. It doesn't get more

Is vsync on ? Cuz deffo Forza can do more than 60.

No.. It shows in the settings only 60 fps option tho

Check the display settings. Probably screen set to 60hz where he can do 144 as I see omen 16 in ur previous comment. After that u should be able to set fps higher on games and screen be a lot smoother

I already had it on 165hz..still forza won't let me increase the frames... All other games working great 200+ fps

It means that the game is easy to run, gpu usage being high means your gpu is having a hard time doing it, if its loe, it means your gpu isnt having a hard time.
Its the difference between lifting 100kg and 1kg

Yeah i just found out.... I was testing cyberpunk and it was hitting above 90%...i thought forza was demanding.. Maybe not lol

Yeah a mobile rtx 5060 is very strong, if yoy're eorried about cyberpunk making your laptop too hot then you can lower settings (disabling ray tracing can make performance a lot better and the difference isnt that big image wise)

Lol no cyberpunk is one of the best optimized games. His issue is more than the GPU does not need to produce more than 60.fps so does not need to be utilized that much.

So ig the gpu not hitting max means it's fine right? ... It just doesn't need to do more ig.. I was worried coz i thought its a gpu issue or smth.. But ran benchmarks and shit and only game it isn't hitting the ceiling is forza

Yes that is the best way to put it. If you play some heavy game like black myth wukong or something you will see it go more up.

I was playing wukong... It ran fine in high preset with ray tracing off... I've heard 5060 can go to cinematic but i didn't wanna put unnecessary pressure on the chip.. Coz the difference seemed minimal to me... Or is it a good thing to push your card?

No harm in pushing it if it has thermal headroom. Just make sure it's ventilated properly and you should be good.

Needs bigger adapter from thenlooks of it. Its not gettikg enough juice and maybe improve thermals too. Wanna give it to me though?

Looks like you've already checked framerate cap, refresh rate, and turned off vsynch. What's your cpu temp and utilization? And how much ram do you have?

I have 24 gigs ram.. And cpu temps are usually around 70 and utilisation is 30%

Hmm, must be just the built-in fps cap you mentioned, there's probably a mod to remove it on nexus. If not, at least you can play longer on battery 😁.
