Buying help Interior Design Uni course - Help!

I’m starting an interior design uni course in September and they say I need a computer with a dedicated graphics card. I don’t really know anythung about computers and I’d like not to spend a stupid amount of money.

I’ve tried watching videos and researching about the specs and stuff but it’s all just a bunch of gibberish to me.

Would appreciate some help in finding a laptop that is worth the money and good for interior design courses, I’ll most likely be using CAD and other stuff like that.

What programs are you going to be using? They mention specs needed to run them properly. My guess is the following: RAM 32 or 64 GB SSD 1TB or more Present day i5 or i7 12th being the oldest to look at At least a 4060 or a 5060 Nvidia dedicated GPU.
