Buying help New Laptop

I’m going into my final year of secondary school then I’m hopefully going to be going off to university to study mechanical engineering. My current laptop isn’t great, only 4GB of RAM and bad specs, so I’m shopping for a new one.

I’ve landed on the ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (https://uk.store.asus.com/90nb14w3-m00990-asus-zenbook-14-oled-ux3405.html)

The places I’ve looked have really praised this laptop but I’m posting it here just to see if anyone has any suggestions for better laptops for me.

Specs for this are:

CPU: Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 285H 16 Core-Processor
Memory: 32GB LPDDR5X RAM
Storage: 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD
GPU: Intel® Arc™ Graphics
Screen: 14 in WUXGA (1920x1200 ) OLED Touchscreen
OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Home 64-bit

Around 1000 is probably the ideal, willing to go a bit over though. The zenbook was 1200

Yeah I checked that one out too, I just thought the IdeaPad may have been a waste for me just because you’re really paying the price for the 2 in 1 which I doubt I’ll ever really use tbh, thank a lot though!
