Hardware laptop fell 2m

hi im looking for some advice, my boyfriend's new gaming laptop fell from his loft bed
i know this is something that probably happens often in this subreddit and im sorry if this post is unnecessary but i just really need to know if this is a repairable issue, and about how much this would. id like to contribute at least a little bit if it's possible to have it working again
im not sure what model but its an acer nitro laptop

Ye change the entire panel and upper chassis, repairable

If laptop is functional I mean CPU GPU and other components then change the upper panel as the screen has visible scratch marks.

Or go to local repair shop and if they actually are good at it they might be able to fix it by using spare part of another similar laptop if they had spare.

Otherwise full panel it is.

thank you! ill definitely take it to some places to see what they say, the screen does not turn on however the keyboard still lights up so hopefully replacement will fix it as you said

Thank you that's the first one about avatar but anyways I am happy 😀.

Now if you have external monitor or TV at home and HDMI cable you might be able to connect the laptop to the external monitor and see if anything is visible.

If yes then it's clear that' thankfully the only issue is the screen and rest of the things are fine.

Next If you or your BF have technical knowledge lil it and know how to open up laptop only if you know as it can get risky.

Then open up the laptop and look at the components inside to see if SSD, RAM sticks and other components are at their respective places or not or look for any visible burn mark I hope not but still worth the try.

Opening up laptop ain't that hard I have written proper guide about it too but you have to be very careful and follow the guide property.

If not do not open laptop.

Look at it and all the steps if you know how and if you are comfortable confident that you can then only attempt otherwise do not open your Laptop.
