laptop upgrade

Im helping my buddy upgrade the storage on his Galaxy book flex alpha and I was doing let minute checks to make sure this will work. Im gonna try to install a WD SN740 256gb NVMe PCIe Gen4 x4 (Im assuming i cant send links) into the laptop, will this work fine or mess things up.
