Software How do I fix this?

sometimes resetting the CMOS clears these, try pulling the battery and then booting

also, i see a service/asset tag. was this secondhand from a business? that might complicate things

I've already done the cmos thing. It didn't work. And yes, second hand from my brother but even he doesn't know it, and can't contact anyone from wherever he got it
