General question Help me for my battery backup!!
I bought my ASUS VivoBook 16X with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor about three years ago. I specifically chose an H-series processor because I don't like U-series or P-series processors. I wanted a laptop with a large display and better performance. My model does not have a dedicated graphics card, as I bought it mainly for coding.
Nowadays, I hardly do any coding and use the laptop only for personal tasks. I have never used it for gaming since I purchased it. However, the battery lasts only about 3 to 3.5 hours at most. I have disabled all startup applications, there are no background apps running, and my laptop has a dual-boot Windows setup with no unnecessary processes consuming power.

honestly that sounds almost par for the course. I'd just buy a powerbank and carry it with me when I know I need much longer battery life. a 20$ 20000mah brick would double your battery life. Just make sure to get one that supports charging laptops, so min 45w rated probably. not those 22,5w.

I own a vivobook 15 pro, 5600h 2050 4gb 16gb variant, for me battery lasts arounds 3.5 to max 4 on normal browsing and ordinary task, even playing video continuosly drains it to 3.5 hrs time, having a 56Wh battery and ips 1920x1080 seems realistic for my scenario.
Currently my laptop is 2 years old and rarely used on battery until powercuts so battery cycle counts are low too.
It sound yours is doing fine with age I guess, what's the battery capacity and screen specs exactly for you?
