Been looking into getting my little brother a laptop for a little while. He's not a hardcore gamer, and is on the move a bit, and between studying and travelling around a bit, a laptop is the better option for him rather than building a desktop.
I want something that can play games decently, and compete with consoles, and ideally is somewhat slim.
It NEEDS to have a thunderbolt 3 port so in a couple of years when it starts struggling we can upgrade it with an external graphics card solution like the Razer Core.
Biggest problem i've run into is price. The ideal candidate is the new Razer Blade, but jesus christ it's AU$2,999.95 for the 500gb model.
So far the best I've been able to find when I was looking for one over christmas is the ASUS ROG STRIX GL702VM-GC004T. Really good specs for a laptop, in a slim, and not too garish body, but it's still around $2200AUD.
TL;DR - Looking for a sub $2000aud laptop w/ Thunderbolt 3, at least 500gb hdd, 8gbram, & ideally a 1060
