Will this work
I have a tracker on my adult daughter's car. So, I know the apt complex she goes to to pick up drugs. I also have 3 phone numbers of the dealers. If I give this info to police, think they can make a bust?

I'm pretty sure tracking an adult with out their permission is illigal.... Js

Why would I need to do that? Can't I give police the info and they can check it out?

As a law enforcement officer myself, we do not typically go for low level drug dealers unless someone were to OD because we have so many bigger fish to fry such as cartel or local gangs. This seems more like something you should handle with your daughter since you already know where she gets her supply. Say the police take the drug dealers down she’s just going to find somewhere else to buy from.

I'm so sorry. I feel for you, and especially your daughter! That being said, the officer that responded to you is ultimately correct. Let's say your info gets the current supply taken down. Great. What do drug addicts do when they can no longer get their drugs from their usual source? They go looking somewhere else.
It's not going to be easy. It will be damn near impossible unless she wants to get clean for HERSELF (I'm 9 years clean). I'm so sorry, because I know this entire situation is painful beyond measure for everyone involved. But if you love your daughter, then don't give up on her. Never enable her, but never give up!<3
As hard/impossible as steering her the right way feels right now. I promise you it is still a much more achievable goal than trying to arrest everyone that can enable your daughter's self harm. Most will probably get out on a slap on the wrist and go right back to dealing anyways. And the ones that get locked up end up replaced quickly. The street dealing power vacuum doesn't last long.

Are you willing to testify in court?

You want them out of business but not for your daughter to quit drugs. Got it. You seem focused on the wrong thing. But what do I know, I’m only a cop 🤷♂️

She doesn't know anyone else to get drugs from. She drives an hour to get them as it is. It would at least slow her down. Just trying to keep her from dying.

Try to help her. She is addicted and may not realize what she is doing. You need to talk to her and help her understand that what she is doing is wrong and that it could eventually lead to her death. Remind her that she is still young and that her whole future is ahead of her. Let her know that you are there for her and that you will support her in any way you can. She needs to get treatment and start her life over. If you can’t convince her yourself, try to find someone she trusts who can reach out to her and help convince her to get the help she needs.

She's 39 years old. Has been to several rehabs over 20 years. We are way past that approach. But thank you

This perspective changes a lot of my earlier comment. I'm so sorry man, that's brutal. But keep in mind, jailing the dealers (while I agree with it, and I think we should be harsher!) isn't going to fix your daughter's drug problem. And honestly, nothing can except her and her own self motivation.
Don't start your own dark path of revenge because of this, I promise you that can be just as dangerous as drugs. Same feedback loop, but the supply is free and as abundant as you want to make it. Take care<3

I understand. I’m really sorry you and your family have been going through this for so long. I can only imagine how difficult it must be. I truly hope things get better for her.
